Built, not just designed
Proago Branding Dept. is a brand infrastructure partner — strategy, design, and in-house fabrication under one roof. The distinction we care about: the work is not finished when it is designed. It is finished when it is installed, and holds.
Principal
Carlos Diaz, principal
Carlos Diaz leads every engagement. He has spent 20+ years across the brand value chain — strategy, identity, production, and the physical work that carries a brand into the world — and has branded more than 100 events along the way.
Clients work with Carlos directly, from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. One order, one timeline, one point of contact — no layers, no translation errors. A design agency hands you a rendering. A sign shop prints whatever file it is given. This studio holds the whole chain, so it is accountable to the physical result: the thing that hangs, drives, and survives the weather.
Method
Anthropology, not reinvention
The method does not begin with a blank page. It begins with what the brand already is — observed closely, distilled honestly, and built into a working system. We don't design individual pieces; we design the system those pieces come from, so each piece compounds on the last.
01
Observe
Discovery starts with what the brand already is — how it speaks, what it has earned, what its customers already believe.
02
Distill
What was observed is reduced to what carries: the few decisions of mark, material, and voice that make everything else consistent.
03
Systematize
Those decisions become a system — specifications a fabricator can hold to, not a mood board open to interpretation.
04
Steward
The system is kept coherent as it enters the world — fabricated in-house and seen through installation, so what holds is what was promised.
The Work
The proof is physical
A wrapped King Air. A hand-finished dining room. A country-club lawn dressed for its members. Different materials, the same accountability — and the fuller record, from fleet graphics to event activations, sits in the studio's selected work.

Locations
A studio in Pasadena, a production facility in Lynwood
The studio and mailing address is 254 N Lake Ave. #303, Pasadena, CA 91101. Strategy, identity, and design work happens here.
Fabrication runs at the studio's own production facility, 10514 Long Beach Blvd., Lynwood, CA 90262 — wraps, signage, dimensional work, and full environments, produced by the same team that designed them.
The studio serves Los Angeles, primarily; national engagements, selectively.

Conviction
Systems are the highest form of brand expression
A logo is an asset. A system is a promise kept in material — over years, across every surface a brand touches. That conviction shapes what the studio accepts: single pieces are taken on selectively, where the craft can show and the brand warrants it, and some of the longest engagements here began exactly that way.
Questions
About the studio, plainly
Who leads the work?
Carlos Diaz, the studio's principal, leads every engagement personally. He has spent 20+ years across the brand value chain, and he remains the single point of contact from strategy through fabrication — no layers, no translation errors.
Where is the studio located?
The studio and mailing address is 254 N Lake Ave. #303, Pasadena, CA 91101. The production facility is at 10514 Long Beach Blvd., Lynwood, CA 90262.
Does the studio take on single pieces?
Selectively, where the craft can show and the brand warrants it. Some of the studio's longest engagements began with a single piece — one wrap, one sign — that proved what a full system could do.
