What is covered

For twelve months from the install date, Proago-fabricated signage, wall treatments and window graphics are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials under normal conditions. That includes:

  • Material lift, delamination or bubbling of applied graphics and wall treatments
  • Seam separation and edge failure
  • Paint, powder coat and laminate finish failure — peeling, flaking or premature fading beyond the material's rated life
  • Dimensional letters and fabricated elements: face separation, return failure, weld or joint failure
  • Illumination components we fabricated or specified, including LED modules and their internal wiring, where the piece was commissioned by us
  • Mounting hardware and fasteners we supplied

Remedy is at our discretion: repair, remake or replace. Where the fault is ours, the return visit and the correction are included.

What is not covered

The warranty covers what we made and how we made it. It does not cover what happens to the work afterwards, or the conditions it was asked to live in:

  • Impact, abrasion or physical damage, including from vehicles, carts, equipment and cleaning with solvents or pressure washers
  • Vandalism, theft or tampering
  • Weather events beyond normal exposure — storms, flooding, fire, extreme heat events
  • Failure of the surface beneath the graphic: paint, plaster, stucco, drywall, primer or glass that releases, cracks or was contaminated before application
  • The electrical supply to an illuminated sign, including the circuit, breaker, timer or photocell, and any power interruption or surge
  • Alterations, repairs, relocation or removal by anyone other than Proago
  • Normal wear of consumables: lamps and modules at end of rated life, batteries, and the gradual, even fading of films and inks within the manufacturer's stated outdoor life
  • Vehicle and fleet wraps, which carry the film manufacturer's warranty (see Wraps, below)

If something outside the warranty fails, we still look at it. We inspect, tell you what happened, and quote the correction.

How to make a claim

Email [email protected] with the address of the installation, a description of what you are seeing and two or three photographs — one from a distance, one close. We reply within one business day.

We will either resolve it from the photographs or schedule a visit. Where the fault is covered, we repair, remake or replace the affected piece at our discretion, using the same materials and finish it was built with so the correction is invisible. Where it is not covered, we say so plainly and quote the work.

The warranty runs from the original install date and applies to the original client and location. It does not reset when a piece is repaired or replaced.

Inspected at 30 days, and again at 180

Every sign and wrap is inspected twice in its first six months, included. The first inspection, at 30 days, catches anything that has moved as the adhesive, the sealant and the mounting have settled. The second, at 180 days, is the check against weather, cleaning and daily use.

  • Adhesion — film, vinyl and laminate are checked for lift, bubbling or tunnelling
  • Edges and seams — every edge, return and seam is checked by hand
  • Illumination — every face and module is checked for even output and dead segments
  • Mounting integrity — fasteners, standoffs and brackets are checked for movement
  • Finish — paint, powder coat and laminate are checked for marks, chalking or fade
  • Legibility — the piece is read from the street and from the approach, in daylight and at night where illuminated

You do not need to ask. We contact you ahead of each date to arrange either a visit or a photo review, whichever suits the location. Anything we find that falls under the warranty is corrected. Anything outside it is noted so you can decide.

Vehicle and fleet wraps

Vehicle and fleet wraps are built from manufacturer cast films and laminates, and they carry the film manufacturer's warranty, which we pass through to you with the documentation at handover. Terms vary by film and by the surface it is applied to — horizontal panels, roofs and hoods see more sun and carry shorter coverage than vertical panels.

Our 30- and 180-day inspections apply to every wrap. Edges, seams, recesses and the areas around handles and lights are checked by hand, and anything that has lifted is reworked. Care instructions are provided at handover; following them is what keeps the manufacturer's warranty in force.

Warranty and inspections, plainly answered

Is there a warranty on your signage?

Yes. Signage, wall treatments and window graphics we fabricate carry a 12-month warranty on workmanship and materials from the install date. If something lifts, separates or fails under normal conditions, we repair, remake or replace it. What is covered, and what falls outside it, is set out on this page.

What happens after the sign is installed?

We come back. Every sign and wrap is inspected at 30 days and again at 180 — adhesion, edges and seams, illumination, mounting, finish and legibility — and both inspections are included. We contact you to arrange each one as a visit or a photo review, and anything covered is corrected before it becomes a claim.

Are vehicle wraps covered by the same warranty?

Wraps carry the film manufacturer's warranty, which we pass through with the documentation at handover, rather than our 12-month fabrication warranty. They are covered by the same 30- and 180-day inspections, where edges, seams and recesses are checked by hand and reworked if they have moved.
